Privacy Policy

Effective June 14, 2026.

Calm Monetization helps publishers improve ad monetization. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices, with particular care for the Google account data you may choose to connect.

What we collect

  • Account basics. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email to create your account.
  • Connected Google data, only with your explicit permission. Read-only access to Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Google AdSense, used to produce your audit. We request read-only scopes only, and we never receive your Google password.
  • Site scan data. When you scan a URL, we read the publicly available page and its Core Web Vitals through Google PageSpeed Insights.
  • Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics to measure how the site is used: pages viewed, referrer, approximate location, and device type. This is standard, aggregate web measurement, and it is not linked to any Google account you connect.

How we store and protect it

  • We store your name, email, and an encrypted access token for each service you connect. Tokens are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and transmitted only over TLS.
  • We may store data derived from your connected accounts, which is your audit results, to show you your reports.
  • We never store your Google password, and we never request write access.

How we use it

Only to generate and display your audit and reports. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your connected Google data for advertising or to train models.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

We use Google Analytics (GA4), which sets cookies to measure traffic and how the site is used. We also display ads on our public pages through Google AdSense, and Google and its advertising partners may set cookies to serve and measure those ads. We use Google Consent Mode: analytics and advertising cookies stay disabled until you accept them in our cookie banner, and you can decline.

You can review how Google uses information from sites that use its services on Google's partner sites page, control ad personalization in your Google Ad Center, opt out of Analytics with Google's opt-out browser add-on, or block cookies in your browser.

Google API Services Limited Use

Calm Monetization's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Who we share it with

We use service providers as processors: Google (the APIs you connect, Google Analytics for site measurement, and Google AdSense for ads on our public pages), Neon (database), and Netlify (hosting). They process data on our behalf under their own terms. We do not sell data to anyone.

Your choices

  • Disconnect a service at any time to delete its stored token and end our access.
  • Delete your account from your dashboard at any time to permanently remove all your data, including connected tokens, goals, and saved history. We also revoke our access to your Google account.
  • Use our contact form, reason "Privacy or data request", for any access or deletion request.

Changes

We may update this policy and will revise the date above when we do.
