Terms of Service

1. Who we are and what this covers
Calm Monetization ("we", "us", "the service") publishes content and tools that help publishers monetize their sites. These terms cover everything we offer: the website and articles, the free tools (the site scan, the eligibility check, the AdSense readiness check), the connected dashboard that reads your Google data, and any paid audit. By using any of it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. If you connect a Google account or a website, you confirm you own it or are authorized to act for whoever does.
3. Connecting your accounts
The dashboard connects, with your permission, to Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google AdSense in read-only mode. We use that access only to show you your own numbers and our analysis of them. We do not change anything in your accounts, we do not sell your data, and you can disconnect any service at any time, which ends our access. How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
4. No guarantees, and not professional advice
Our content, scores, and recommendations are informational and directional. We do not guarantee that you will be approved by AdSense or any ad network, that your traffic, rankings, viewability, or earnings will improve, or that any estimate or benchmark will match your result. Ad platforms set their own rules and change them without notice. Nothing here is legal, financial, tax, or professional advice. Decisions you make based on the service are your own.
5. Affiliate and referral disclosure
We may earn referral or affiliate fees when you sign up for ad networks, hosting, or tools we link to. We only recommend things we believe pass the net-positive test, and a recommendation is never conditioned on whether it pays us. Where a link earns us a fee, that does not change its price to you.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service to break the law or anyone's rights;
- scrape, resell, or systematically copy our content or tools;
- probe, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, or run the free tools against sites you do not control in a way that abuses them;
- connect accounts you are not authorized to connect.
7. Our content and yours
Our writing, data studies, tools, and brand are ours, and you may not republish them wholesale. Your data and your sites remain yours. You grant us only the limited permission needed to operate the service for you, for example to fetch and display your connected numbers.
8. Third-party services
The service relies on third parties, including Google (the APIs you connect), Neon (database), and Netlify (hosting). Your use of those is also subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for them.
9. Paid audit
If you buy an audit, the scope, price, and delivery are what we agree at the time of purchase. An audit is our professional opinion of your setup, not a guarantee of any outcome.
10. As is, and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost revenue, traffic, or data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the claim, or one hundred dollars if you paid nothing.
11. Termination
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or abuse the service.
12. Changes
We may update these terms, and will revise the date above when we do. Continued use means you accept the change.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [your state and country], without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
